MEET OUR TRAINERS

Alison has been training dogs for over 30 years and has worked with hundreds of dogs in obedience and behavior modification. She utilizes a balanced approach to training with the emphasis on positive reinforcement and redirection/ corrections layered in if needed. The well-being of the dog is always the first consideration, and no one training method fits all dogs. Her goal is to help owners have a relationship with their dogs that is built on mutual respect and cooperation, bringing out the desire in dogs to work in harmony with their owners rather than in a state of conflict. Every dog deserves the opportunity to have strong social skills in order to be welcome in all settings and environments: a well-trained dog is an asset to his community and can live a life rich with variety as a companion to his family.
